  1. A team exercise in:Collaboration, Innovation and Creativity

  2. Build the tallest FREESTANDING structure The winning team is the one that has the tallest structure measured from the top of your desk to the top of the marshmallow. That means the structure CANNOT be suspended from a higher structure, such as a chair, ceiling light, etc.

  3. The ENTIRE marshmallowmust be on TOP The entire marshmallow needs to be on the top of the structure. Cutting or eating part of the marshmallow disqualifies the team.

  4. Use as much or as little of the kit • Tool kit contains: • Spaghetti sticks • String • Tape • Marshmallow • Use as much of the materials as you want • There will be NO replacements

  5. You are allowed to modify your materials • If you want, you are free to • Break up the spaghetti • Cut up the tape • Cut up the string

  6. Time • The challenge lasts 18 minutes EXACTLY • Teams CANNOT hold on to the structure when the time runs out • Teams touching or supporting their structure at the end of the exercise will be disqualified.

  7. Does everyone understand the rules? • Remember to be an active listener • Remember that redundancy in communication can be a good thing! • Questions? • Let’s review them again
