Membership • Grew from 297 to 306 members • Grew from 184 to 189 organizations • Weekly conference calls (Thursday 9 AM Pacific) • Face to face meetings planned every 2 – 4 months • Internationalinvolvement in the Work Group • 54 % North America • 26 % Europe • 20 % Far East
Transition of Chair Position • Michael J. Kirwan and Daidi Zhong have been selected to be the co-chair of X73-PHD WG. • Michael: mkirwan@dsheet.com • Daidi: daidi.zhong@ieee.org • Smooth transition is underway: • Hand over the key documents • Assign the access right to various e-tools • Agreed on how to share the responsibility • Introduction made to liaisons from ISO, IEEE and other entities • Team activities continue as usual • Thanks to Douglas Bogia for his excellent leadership!

IEEE Std 11073-20601a (Optimized Data Exchange) • This was published in late January ’11 • Team is collecting inputs for next revision
IEEE P11073-10406 (Minimal ECG) • 10406 has completed balloting with a 100% approval rate • It was on the RevCom agenda Sept 8 – 10, 2011. • Approved by RevCom and SASB Sept 14th
IEEE P11073-10413 (Respiration) • No further progress made by the lead author
IEEE P11073-10417 (Glucose Meter) • Initial Ballot completed • 62 comments received, most of them have been resolved • 26 affirmative votes • 1 negative votes with comments • Approval Rate is 96% • Team is resolving the received comments.
IEEE P11073-10418 (INR) • 10418 has completed balloting with a 100% approval rate • It was on the RevCom agenda Sept 8 – 10, 2011. • Approved by RevCom and SASB Sept 14th
IEEE P11073-10419 (Insulin pump) • Renewed interests from several members -- JDRF, J&J, Roche • Lead author is working on the received comments
IEEE P11073-10422 (Urine analyzer) • There was a demo at the July F2F of proprietary solution to help people understand what is desired to be standardized. • No concrete progress made by the lead author
IEEE P11073-10441 (Cadio.) • Lead author is resolving the comments for 10441 revision • New version submitted by lead author this week.
IEEE P11073- 10441&10442 Study Group • 10441&10442 study group is researching and identifying new use cases required by fitness equipment vendors. • Initial findings were shared and discussed in July F2F
IEEE P11073-00103 (PHD Overview) • Most comments have already been resolved • There was general agreement that the doc is mature enough to go for re-circ • Target date for re-circ is the end of September
ISO/CEN Status • Work is underway to get the IEEE published standards through the ISO process. • CEN has adopted multiple of the ISO published standards as well.
New Transport Underway • The IEEE 11073 PHD work is being adopted by another transport team • NFC forum has begun defining the use of IEEE 11073 PHD • Anticipated release date of 2012
