  2. 1.CAUSES: • The Japanese earthquake that took place on 11th march 2011 was caused by the largest fault slip ever recorded, according to three studies. The area of ​​the earthquake is an area in which produces a subduction of the Pacific plate on the North American plate, which is called Japan Trench.
