I am a member of the Youth Leadership Forum, class of 2007. • I go to George Mason University • Studding Childhood Education/Sociology • I volunteer at Langston Hughes Middle School BOND Boys Mentoring group • I have an Associates degree in Childhood Education From NOVA Community College • I graduated South Lakes High School in 2009 • I hope to become a counselor in the public schools. • I play Power Soccer a sport for power wheelchairs • I coach baseball In the Reason Little League • I been playing baseball for over 10 years • I ran a male mentor program at the Fairfax County Teen Center for three years.

  5. Steps to Goal 1: Special Education Teacher / Counselor • Get ECDE degree at NVCC • BA AT Mason • Volunteer to Speak at teacher conferences • Look for jobs • Get Masters or Doctorate in Special ED by 2019

  6. Steps to GOAL 2Power Soccer coach/Star • Get a team fully together • Make advertisements • Perfect spin kick • Try out for other teams • Win a championship

  7. Goal 3: Baseball Coach • Help with drills and warm up • Communicate effectively with teammates • Type up batting Orders • Go to coaching clinics

  8. Goal 4: Disability Advocate • Apply to YLF-VA each year • Attend other disability rights conferences • Get to know the ADA & other disability laws

  9. GOAL 5: Disability Leadership Club • Talk to high school Special Ed teacher see if they are interested • PUT a business plan together to submit to principles and care giver • Give teacher support by holding mini conferences
