Getting Started • Create a list of items about you • Interests, likes, dislikes, personality traits, places, people, hobbies, etc.
Drafting your Memoirs • Choose 2-3 items from the list that can be developed • Write a little bit about those items • Synthesize that writing into six words!

Thinking about Memoirs • How is it possible and impossible to show who you are in six words? • Did you use punctuation? Capitalization? How does it affect your memoir? • Why is storytelling important?
