  2. My Real Problem • Patrick and some of his friends want to see Lady Gaga live in concert. He need four tickets ,but they cost 98$ dollars each. How much will it cost for Patrick an his friends to see Lady gaga live in concert?

  3. My Equation • Y=98.00 • X=5 • X= 5 concert tickets • Y= 490$ dollars

  4. Independent & Dependent • The independent variable is my x which is the number of concert tickets. • The Dependent variable is my y total cost. • We know that y depends on x • So the total cost depends on the concert tickets

  6. Domain & Range • Domain is my x values • Range is my y values • So my domain is {1,2,3,4,5} • Range is {98.00,196.00,294.00,392.00,490.00}

  7. Continuous & Discrete? • My have points in Not going in the a line it is a discrete problem. • It is discrete because its hold numbers an u can’t buy a have ticket to have to buy a hold ticket.

  8. Is It A Function? • Yes it’s a function because my x value does not repeat.

  10. At The end • For Patrick to go to the concert it was 98.00 dollars but if he took his friends to the concert it will be 490.00 dollars. Not including the gas money are to get some to eat so next time we will got to found that question out..
