Magazine Ideas Krewella Page Spread
Typefaces Bank Gothic Optima Optima would be good for the content as it is a light smooth font which is nice to read because its easy on your eyes. Optima has also been used for many company logos such as M&S, various memorial organisations and some Premier League Kits. • Bank gothic is a very simple typeface with a hard-edged theme. This makes it stand out and would be good for any headings or subheadings in a magazine. This is also the font I used to recreate the Krewella title on the album art I produced.
Colour Schemes Krewella’s main method of color schemes is to contrast the colours whilst still keeping them vibrant and maintaining that neon glow to it. I shall attempt to do the same in my magazine spread as I think having any colour schemes that differ from their own will not work.
Layouts The layout for my magazine will be more graphic oriented with the content of the magazine arranged around the images and textures. This will give it a more open feel and will give it a vibrant and easy to read feel.
Graphical Effects My magazine will be full of effects such as the one pictured here. I shall include a variety of mists, splats and lens flares in my magazine spread. This will make it very eye catching and the reader will definitely know when they have found the Krewella article. However saying that I do not want the page to be too bright as some audiences will not like that so I will limit the amount of effects and bright colours I include.
