Achievement under Kitchen cum Store • In Puducherry, Central kitchen is being followed and at present 13 Central kitchen are functioning including the Central Kitchen at Lawspet . • There is a proposal to construct 6 more central kitchens viz., 2 Puducherry 3 karaikal 1 at Mahe. • The Central grant received for an amount of Rs.55.20 Lakhs is to be utilsed for the construction of Central kitchen at KurivinathamPuducherry. • Land for the construction of the kitchen has already been identified and handed over to the Public Works Department, Puducherry for the construction of the said kitchen

Proposal for Construction of Kitchen-cum-Store • 6 New Central Kitchens 2 at Puducherry, 3 at Karaikal and 1 at Mahe • An estimate amount of Rs.7.50 crores is proposed to be constructed during the year 2013-14. • Central Share of Rs.5.63 crores is required for the same Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India

Proposal for Procurement of Kitchen Devices • Proposal of replacement 231of Kitchen Devices. • As per GOI records , no allocation was done in 2007-08. • In 2006-07, 308 Institutions were provided grant of KD, No proposal was received from the UT regarding that in 2012-13 Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India
