  1. This is our school. It is situated about 20 km from the Swedish city Gothenburg.

  2. The teachers and pupils We are 415 pupils and about 60 teachers.These are our two principles, Titti Ljungdahl and Peter Haglund. In our school we have grades from 4 to 9. And there are about 20 pupils in each class.

  3. Maths • Music • Biologi, Chemistry, Physics, Technology • History, Religion, Geography, Social science • Arts • Needle and woodwork • English • German, French or Spanish as a third language • Home Economics • Physical Education • And of course we have Swedish Subjects

  4. About our school We have ”montessori-classes”, which are mixed classes where the pupils can plan their own work. Recently we have started a floorball club. There are about 20 members in it. Our school is specialised in Information technologies. We also have a music profile.

  13. CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT IN KVARNBYN Mölndal is the Valley of mills. The narrow but high and long waterfalls in Kvarnbyn gave the necessary power to all the watermills, that together with the windmills on the hills gave birth to the early industrialisation of Mölndal. Paper manufacturing started in 1653 and is still ongoing on the very same location.

  14. Gunnebo House is one of Sweden's best and stylistically purest examples of neo-classical architecture. When the house was completed in 1796 it was one of the most magnificent and most modern summer residences in the country.

  18. The City of Mölndal has MANY VISITORS EVERY YEAR IKEA and Gunnebo House and Gardens are two examples. Another one is ÅbyTravet, where the races each year draw 260 000 spectators.

  19. LIFE LONG LEARNING There are 24 schools in the City of Mölndal, plus preschools, upper secondary schools, adult education and music school.Life Long Learning is important in Mölndal.
