Motive and sponsor His sponsor was France. His motive to be wealthy and to clam land.
Dates of Exploration And a Trade Route 1681 – 1684 was Robert’s time of exploration. His trade route was through the Mississippi river. Then in 1682 he clamed land for France.
Claim to Fame Claimed land for France. Went done the Mississippi river. Clamed the Mississippi river and all the rivers connected to it.(Missouri river and the Ohio river)
Interesting Facts His men murdered him because they thought his was crazy. Why he was crazy is because he was starving. He went to find help. He was a nobleman.
