Kresge’s Goal for Centers—To increase the coordination, effectiveness, and scale of student success programs and initiatives. • Provide support, data, shared venue for community colleges to develop and implement completion agenda. • Our Mission—To help the CCC system continue to advance the Student Success Initiative and continue to make gains on student achievement.
Key focus on professional development—To expand learning opportunities for faculty, staff, and administrators and increase ease of access to best practices throughout the state and country. • Vision: For CCC to have the best system of professional development in the country.
Projects/Programs • Develop online professional development portal (clearinghouse) for faculty, staff, and administrators. • Six upcoming regional summits. • Leverage Institutional Effectiveness program for on-site professional development. • Partner with system advocates to influence state-level policy change related to student success. • Adopt a few other potentially high-impact issues.
