  4. 1) One New Man….Created, Not Adjusted- Eph 2:13-16 New man 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

  5. 1) One New Man….Created, Not Adjusted- Eph 2:13-16 New man 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

  6. 1) One New Man….Created, Not Adjusted- Eph 2:13-16 New man 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,

  7. 1) One New Man….Created, Not Adjusted- Eph 2:13-16 New man 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

  8. New man The new man is not an adjustment in our behavior, but the complete new creation of our spirit and soul. The Christian faith is not behavior management of worldly ways, but the nurturing of one whole new person created by Christ.

  13. 2) One New Man…To Be Lived Out- Eph 4:22-24 New man 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

  14. 2) One New Man…To Be Lived Out- Eph 4:22-24 New man 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

  15. New man The pattern of life for Christians is not found in the example of the Pharisees, who lived merely on the surface, by rules, laws, and traditions.

  16. New man The new person in Christ has one goal, to be filled with and live out the life of Christ in them.

  17. New man Col 3 1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. NIV

  18. New man Col 3 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. NIV

  19. New man That is why He warned people to “count the cost” before becoming Christians. “Make no mistake,” Jesus says, “if you let me, I will make you perfect. The moment you put yourself in my hands, that is what you are in for. Nothing less, or other than that. C.S. Lewis
