  2. Childhood Franklin was born in Hyde Park , New York in 1882.His family was wealthy , and he was an only child. The most important work to him was public service.

  3. Early Life • Franklin D. Roosevelt waspresident of the U.S.A longer than any other president. He lead the country through some difficult times.

  4. Career • His career was being president and helping people. Once he lead people through the great depression ! He also lead a campaigncalled the Roosevelt special. He also had to fight an opponent in a debate!

  5. Legacy • Roosevelt was a hero to them. He helped them get through the great depression. And he was honored with a memorial. That’s why he is a great hero.
