  2. Born • Franklin D. Roosevelt was born in New York 1882. His family was very rich . Later he went to study at Harvard University and Cambridge Law School.

  3. Early Work • Franklin married Eleanor Roosevelt in 1905. Later they had 6 children. Franklin was elected governor of New York in 1928.

  4. Life’s Work • Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected president by 1933. When the great depression started, Franklin found a way to fix it. It was called The New Deal.
