  9. Don’t be afraid • [5] (At that time I stood between the Lord and you to declare to you the word of the Lord, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain.) And he said: Deuteronomy 5:5 NIV

  10. You will live • [24] And you said, “The Lord our God has shown us his glory and his majesty, and we have heard his voice from the fire. Today we have seen that a person can live even if God speaks with them. Deuteronomy 5:24 NIV

  11. Come Boldly before His throne of Grace • 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

  12. Pitch your tent outside of the camp • Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the “tent of meeting.” Anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp Exodus 33:7

  13. Face to Face • The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.  Exodus 30:7a

  14. Linger in His presence • Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent. Exodus 33:7b

  15. Repentance • 1. I was wrong • 2. admit • 3.Sorry • 4.Please forgive me • 5.Turn around change your behavior. Don’t do it again • Repeat

  16. Moses prayer room • There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites. Exodus 25:22

  17. Morning and night • Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 6 Put the altar in front of the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law—before the atonementcover that is over the tablets of the covenant law—where I will meet with you. • 7 “Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altarevery morning when he tends the lamps. 8 He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilightso incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.  Exodus 30:5-8

  18. Prayer releases Heaven • Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’speople, on the golden altar in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. Revelations 8:34
