  1. The e+A focus weeks Alberto Accardi Matt Lamont Cyrille Marquet https://wiki.bnl.gov/eic/index.php/QCD_Matter_under_Extreme_Conditions

  2. Program of the week

  3. Outline of the final report • Introduction and overviewsummary of the three weeks – by the conveners • Saturation and small-x physics • Nuclear effects throughout the (x,Q2) plan • In-medium parton propagation and hadronization • Experimental/detector considerationsshould be discussed in parallel of the above topics combined with other groups, a CERN-yellow-report-like document will be established

  4. wiki page of the e+A weeks https://wiki.bnl.gov/eic/index.php/QCD_Matter_under_Extreme_Conditions • you will be granted access by Matt, who will send you login details • contains many useful links, such as one to the EIC luminosity page https://eic.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/EIC_luminosity • should be used as a forum following the discussions, and as a resource for additional materials such as papers, notes, … • you will be able to follow the progress of the final report, and complain if you don’t like the editing … • feel free to suggest other uses of this wiki

  5. Instructions for the write-up • if you would like to contribute, please let us know • discuss the relevance of your results to the EIC science case in this sense it is more than a standard conference proceedings • use the template sample.tex that you can find on the wiki page https://wiki.bnl.gov/eic/index.php/QCD_Matter_under_Extreme_Conditions • remember that the goal of the whole document is to answer the following questions What are the crucial science issues? How do they fit in the overall goals for nuclear physics? Why can't they be addressed adequately at existing facilities? Will they still be interesting in the EIC timeline (2020s)? What are the golden experiments to be performed which will address these issues?
