  2. Britain controlled Palestine from WWI- WWII. European Imperialism in the Middle East. Palestine is modern day Israel.

  3. Palestine was divided into Jewish & Arab sections after WWII! Why Palestine? Truman, supports Jewish State • After the Holocaust, Jewish groups began to call for a Jewish “homeland”. • Palestine was the “biblical” homeland. • Britain hands off the “question” of Palestine to the United Nations. • U.N. decided to “partition” Palestine into a Arab & Jewish State.

  4. Israel was called Palestine before 1947 When it was divided into two countries; Israel and Palestine. Palestinian Arabs were removed from part of the land and forced to give that land to Jewish settlers.

  5. Four Wars, continued violence in Israel! U.S. is seen as favoring the Jewish state!

  6. America’s Involvement…We provide assistance to Palestine but mostly Israel Jewish Support Palestinian Support

  7. The U.S. Invasion of Iraq has also created resentment towards the U.S.- 2003! The U.S. invaded a country based on incorrect intelligence…There were no WMD in Iraq!

  8. Iraq War and & torture … Devastation of Invasion of Iraq.. American’s Abuse & torture Prisoners in Iraq!

  9. War = deaths! Deaths of military and civilians in Iraq.

  10. U. S. Invaded Afghanistan in 2001 Osama Bin Laden was hiding in Afghanistan….

  11. Why did U.S. invade Afghanistan? 2001 Osama bin Laden was hiding in Afghanistan…. The extremist government called the Taliban refuse to give him up…the U.S. invaded!

  12. Taliban still have some control in Afghanistan….

  13. U.S. Invasion of Afghanistan Afghan’s neighbor also has Taliban and extremist in mountainous area… U.S. had used our military in Pakistan!

  14. American Drone’s Used to target areas of Pakistan were Taliban and Extremist!

  15. Protest against American Drone attacks in Pakistan

  16. War on Terror is seen often as war on Muslims!! Muslims feel like U.S. is going to war with many Muslim countries; Iraq, Afghanistan- bombing Pakistan ……

  17. After 9/11- Many American’s made stereotypical assumptions ....
