  1. Reflexive (Present tense)

  2. Reflexive Verbs/Infinitives There are two categories for all infinitives. There are reflexive and non-reflexive. Reflexive verbs have the actor doing action to self. Non-reflexive have the actor doing action to someone/ something else. Reflexives, in their simple form, have “se” in the ending. The are very easy to spot in a list.

  3. Reflexive Verbs You may have noticed that some of the infinitives have been used before, but now have a “se” attached to them. lavarse = to wash self lavar = to wash (something else) I wash my hair. Actor doing action to self. I wash my clothing. Actor doing action to something else.

  4. Reflexive Conjugations You are not learning a new conjugation. The verbs are the same conjugation that they always have been. You just need to learn the reflexive pronouns that will come directly in front of the conjugated verb to show on whom the action is reflected.

  5. Reflexive Conjugations Now put the reflexive pronoun with the verb. For an example, conjugate the verb dormirse. Dormirse = to sleep

  6. These pronouns never change with reflexives.
