To Apply Styles • Press Ctrl + Home • Point to Heading 1 • Click Heading 1 • Press Ctrl + End • Click Heading 2 Home tab
To Center a Paragraph Align Text Left button currently selected Insertion Point in paragraph to be centered
To Center a Paragraph Home Tab Center button selected Paragraph containing headline centered horizontally on page
To Select a Line • Move the mouse pointer to the left of the line to be selected until the mouse pointer changes to a right-pointing block arrow
To Select a Line • While the mouse pointer is a right-pointing block arrow, click the mouse to select the entire line to the right of the mouse pointer Home tab Line to be formatted is selected
To Change the Font Size of Selected Text • With the text selected, click the Font Size box arrow on the Home tab to display the Font Size gallery
To Change the Font Size of Selected Text • Click 48 in the Font Size gallery to increase the font size
To Change the Font of Selected Text • With the text selected, click the Font box arrow on the Home tab to display the Font gallery
To Change the Font of Selected Text • Scroll through the Font gallery, and then click on Copperplate Gothic Bold to change the font
To Select Multiple Paragraphs • Move the mouse pointer to the left of the first paragraph to be selected until the mouse pointer changes to a right-pointing block arrow

To Change the Font Size of Selected Text • Change selected paragraphs font size to 16
To Format a Line • Click somewhere in the paragraph to be centered.

To Format a Line • Move the mouse pointer to the left of the line to be selected, change the font size to 18.
To Bullet a List of Paragraphs • Move the mouse pointer to the left of the first paragraph to be selected • Drag downward until all paragraphs that will be formatted are selected • Click the bullets button on the Home tab
To Undo and Redo • Click the undo button on the quick access toolbar to remove the bullets • Click the redo button to place a bullet character back Home tab Redo Undo
To Select a Group of Words • Position the mouse pointer immediately to the left of the first character of text to be selected. Home tab

To change the style set • Click the Change Styles button on the Home tab to display the Change Styles menu • Point to Style Set on the Change styles menu • Point to Modern in the Style set gallery
To change theme colors • Click the Change styles button on the home tab • Point to Colors on the Change Styles menu • Click Aspect in the Colors gallery
To change theme fonts • Click the Change Styles button on the Home tab • Click Foundry in the Fonts gallery
To Insert a Picture • To position the insertion point where you want the picture to be located, press CTRL + HOME and then press the DOWN ARROW key four times

To Insert a Picture • Go to Google.com • Type in Horse and Rider in the Search Box • Click on the Images Tab • Click on the Image you like • Right click and click on save image as • Save in your computer technology folder

To Apply a Picture Style • Click the down scroll arrow until the entire picture is displayed • Click the more button in the Picture Styles Gallery • Click Metal Oval in the Picture Styles gallery
To Change a Picture Border Color • Click the Picture Border button arrow on the Format tab • Click Tan, Background 2 in the Picture Styles gallery
To Add a Page Border • Click Page Layout on the Ribbon • Click the Page Borders button on the Page Layout Tab • Click the Art box arrow • Click the Art Border shown
