  3. ERRORES MAS FRECUENTES Centrar mal la cámara del manguito, sin comprimir la arteria braquial Usar mango inadecuado a la circunferencia del brazo

  7. ERRORES MAS FRECUENTES PREFERENCIA POR DIGITO TERMINAL • El examinador registra repetidamnete presiones que terminan en los mismos números • El error más frecuente es que se registre como dígito terminal 0 o el 5 • Ejemplo: 120/85 130/90

  8. ERRORES MAS FRECUENTES SESGO DEL EXAMINADOR • Es frecuente que la persona que mide la presión arterial lea sobre o bajo el nivel real en forma inconciente, basado en nociones preconcebidas. • Ejemplo: Obeso debería tener la presión más alta que una delgada

ERRORES MAS FRECUENTES ERROR SISTEMATICO • Por diversas causas, el examinador en repetidas oportunidades comete el mismo error al leer el nivel de presión arterial • diferencias en la concentración mental, especialmemnte si el entorno es ruidoso • diferencias significativas en el tiempo empleado en la medición de la presión arterial entre distintos examinadores
