European Network for Rural Development(EN RD) • The Network was launched in October 2008. • Its legal background based on the Council Regulation (EC) No 1698/2005 of 20 September and on the Commission Decision No 2008/168 • Participants in EN RD: national networks, organisations and administrations active in the field of rural development at Community level.

  3. The aims of the Network are to: • Collect, analyse and disseminate information on rural development measures and practices; • Provide information on developments in rural areas; • Organize meetings and seminars; • Support the national networks and transnational copperation initiatives. • www.enrd.eu

  4. Objectives of the HNRN are • to encourage and facilitate the implementation of the rural development programmes; • to ensure regular communication and rapid flow of information between the members of government, economic and civil organizations etc.

  5. Tasks of the HNRN • Service and informational tasks • Dissemination of best practices • Ensuring the professional experience change • Needs assesment (NHRDP Axes III.-IV.); • Organizing professional trainings

  6. Tasks of the HNRN 2.Communicational tasks • Dissemination of general information relating to rural development • Contact with the implementing authorities of NHRDP (ÚMVP) • Launching a project database

  7. Tasks of the HNRN 3.International and inter-regional cooperations • Supporting the international and inter-regional cooperations • Organising study tours and trainings • Cooperate with the EN RD

  9. Structure of the HNRN Council (not launched yet): Proposing and supporting body 200 members are nominated by the Minister of Rural Development It gives opinion about the annual action plan and about the report of the implementation of the annual action plan of the HNRN

  10. Structure of the HNRN • Presidency: • Responsible for the implementation of the HNRN’s objectives; • Makes a proposal of the programmes to be financed by the HNRN funds; • Approves the annual action plan of the HNRN. • Presidency: 12 members+ President • Members are nominated for 5 years

  11. Structure of the HNRN • President: • The President of the HNRN is Bálint Csatári PHD geographer, University professor • He represents the HNRN • Leads the meetings of the Presidency and the Council of the HNRN

  12. Structure of the HNRN • Secretary General (SG): • SG manages the operation of the HNRN and the Permanent Secretariat; • Coordinates the implementation of the action plan of the HNRN; • Represents the HNRN in International cooperations and events

  13. Structure of HNRN • Permanent Secretary (PS): • The administrative tasks of the HNRN are provided by the Permanent Secretariat, • Which operates within the Rural Development Educational and Advisory Institute
