  9. | Power | UPS | Bulldog Plus Shutdown Software • By default the COM port is set to Auto and the Service will automatically find the UPS • All available COM ports on the system can be used as well as USB • Load Warning and Load Severity are to set the levels at which warnings are sent • Last battery replacement date is set at software installation; next replacement is set three years in advance • Advanced settings – available on the NET series only – allow to specify whether the UPS will automatically start when power has returned

  10. | Power | UPS | Bulldog Plus Shutdown Software • The buttons with tick marks indicate which actions are enabled for the event selected in the list; click the buttons to enable/disable and customise the action • The check boxes on the right determine which actions will be reset to their default status when Set Default is clicked – the user is prompted if the reset is for the selected event or for all events

  12. | Power | UPS | Bulldog Plus Shutdown Software • The Email feature can only be used if it is configured properly via Device | Notification Users in the Configuration screen • To use MAPI make sure an Exchange server is present and all the names are available in the Global Address List • To use SMTP, specify the SMTP settings: • Server name or IP address • SMTP Account is used in the MAIL FROM command • SMTP Domain is used in the HELO/EHLO command
