  2. * School Hours: 8:00am – 3:15pm* Student Drop-off: 8:05am* Tardy at 8:25am – must be brought to the office by an adult* All Transportation Changes must be made before 2:30pm* Can contact me from 1:25–2:00 (M, Th, F) and from 3:00–3:15

  3. Our Schedule 8:25 –Morning Announcements 8:30 – Morning Meeting 8:50 – Math 9:50 – Shared Reading 10:20 – Guided Reading 11:20 – Word Study/Independent Reading 11:40 – Recess 12:00 – Lunch 12:30 – Writing 1:20 – Resource 2:05 – Science/VA Studies 2:55 - Dismissal

  4. Resource Schedule • Monday – Computer Lab • Tuesday – Library (BRING BOOKS) • Wednesday – PE (WEAR TENNIS SHOES) • Thursday – Art • Friday – Music

Discipline/Behavior ExpectationsPBIS – Positive Behavioral Interventions Support • Consistent Rules across the school – TRACK expectations • Positive Behavior - marbles, Caught on Track tickets, etc. • Planner initialed nightly with a comment attached when necessary • Notes or Phone Calls when necessary • Referrals for extreme behaviors

  6. Dos and Don’ts • No toys or cell phones brought to school • No food can be shared (including birthday treats) • No medicine – including cough drops!! • Must be brought into the clinic by parent/guardian • Anyone coming into the building MUST sign in on the Raptor system in the office

  7. Appropriate Attire Check Handbook for Details • All shirts should have at least a 1in strap • Shorts/Shirts/Dress should fall below fingertip length • No flip-flops • Tennis shoes are preferred – especially for recess (required for PE)

  8. Cafeteria Prices • Breakfast – $1.25 • Lunch • Student Price - $1.95 • Adult Price - $3.00 • Snacks – 40￠- 75￠ • Milk - 60￠ • Can add money to child’s account on mylunchmoney.com

  9. Parent Pick-up If your student will be parent pick-up you can go to the office and get your drivers license copied and attached to the form. You will not have to show your license everyday if you do this. ** If anyone else comes to pick up your student they will still need to show their license.**

  10. Final Reminders • Learn more about our curriculum and SOL’s on our Instructional Night: Sept. 26th 6:00 – 7:30 • Join PTA for only $5 • If you would like to volunteer in the school (including going on our field trip) please ask me for a white volunteer application sheet.
