Software for the Game and Simulation Industries
  2. About GameSim Founded in 2008 to service the Game and Modeling & Simulation Industries with software engineering products and services. As of January 2012, GameSim is a 17 person company. Experienced developers in console, mobile and online games.
  3. Electronic Arts GameSim has done development with Electronic Arts on a number of their teams: Mass Effect 3 (POC: John Campbell) NCAA Football (POC: Eddie Dorsey) Madden NFL (POC: SeannGraddy) Global Online Services Group (POC: DarkoBojanic) EA Origin (POC: DarkoBojanic) See Notes section of this slide for details on the EA projects.
  4. Ruin Image Generation independent system to support physics-based, full animations between destroyed states of a model (e.g., tank, bridge or building). Funded by RDECOM. POC: Julio de la Cruz Government-purpose rights. Video: http://gamesim.com/files/gamesimboom.wmv
  5. CSXMoves CSX awarded GameSim a contract to create a complete game, CSXMoves. CSXMoves is for CSX employees and customers to better understand freight train operations. GameSim is leading this effort in all areas including game design, art and engineering. CSXMoves will be available directly from the web and as a standalone application. The game is being developed for the web, iOS and Android.
  6. CSXMoves Prototyping Stage Since this is the first game CSX has ever created, GameSim wanted to quickly create a few prototypes with various looks to determine their preference at the start of the project. This stage was completed in under 2 weeks. CSX chose to go with the more realistic rendering style. Based on this decision and other requirements, GameSim selected the Unity engine as the underlying engine for the game.
  7. CSXMoves Environments GameSim is using CSX provided GIS data to generate the environments for the game. However, the environments are also hand altered by artists to ensure a visually appealing and interesting environment for players.
