Commercial Operations Sub-Committee Update to TAC April 7, 2006
Successes : PRR568 – Change Initial Settlement from Day 17 to Day 10 • Operating Day January 17, 2006 - Start the migration to Day 10 Initial Settlement, Publication of binding Settlement Statement for this date would be February 2, 2006. One extra day will be Invoiced weekly for 7 weeks. • March 16, 2006 - Completion of PRR568 PRR638 – Change Settlement Invoice Due Date from 16 Calendar Days to 5 Business Days • April 1, 2006 - Impletion of PRR638
Procedures: • COPS Requests that TAC approve • COPS Procedures Update – This document was modified to add PWG as a working group and to add responsibility of load profiling • LPGRR009, Changes to Governing Subcommittee – This LPGRR changes the governing subcommittee of PWG from RMS to COPS
Procedures: • Currently, Profile Working Group updates the decision tree to place ESI IDs into the correct Profile Type. These changes to the decision tree must be made by each TDSP. • ERCOT Staff performs a similar activity and then works with each TDSP to ensure they each agree • LPGRR010 will require ERCOT to perform the profile analysis and identify which ESI IDs need to corrected. The TDSPs will then submit the appropriate TxSET transaction to the Market.
Procedures: • COPS Requests that TAC approve • LPGRR010, Load Profile Type Responsibility Change: Changes the market rules so that ERCOT is responsible for the Load Profile Type calculations during Annual Validation while maintaining TDSP responsibility for Load Profile ID assignment transactions
