Ecosystem All the biotic and abiotic things that working together as a functional unit. Ecosystems will fail if they do not remain in balance. Within an ecosystem, there are many habitats.
Biome Large regions of the world with similar plants, animals, and other living things that are adapted to the climate. It is made up of similar ecosystems.
Biosphere All the environments on earth that are inhabited by life. People that study how living things interact with one another and with their environment is called ecology.
