Introduction Howdy! Come on go with us, the wagon train is loadin’ up. We’re goin’ on a quest and it’s takin’ us west. You’ve heard about it…the land of opportunity. That’s where there’s loads of land, fresh air, and clean water, and you might even strike it rich! Don’t need much, just your partner and a good thinkin’ mind. We’ve got lots to learn about what went on in those parts from 1801 right up to the Civil War. So, saddle up…you’re in for the ride of your life.
Task • You and your partner will answer the assigned questions on the worksheet through completing your WebQuest. • You will then create a power point that includes the following: • Title/Presenter Slide • 5 to 8 Informational Slides (in note format) • 1 Picture, Map, or Graph on each slide • Works Cited Slide PowerPoint Scoring Rubric • You and your partner will create five “Fill in the Blank” questions based on your power point for your classmates to complete during your presentation. Designate an area for students to write down their name and date. NOTE: You may NOT start on your power point until your worksheet is complete.
