  2. Isaiah 64:8 King James Version (KJV) 8 But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

  3. The people are out of position to see God's Glory and manifestation in their lives

  4. God's glory is His beauty of His character

  5. "Thou art the father" -pertaining to a relationship that he has with us

  6. "We are the clay, thou art the potter“-we, as his creation must respect who we are as God formed us.

  7. "And The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being." (Genesis 2:7). The Hebrew for man is pronounced aw-dawm, from which Adam is derived. It's also related to aw-dawm-ah, which means red earth, or red clay - indicating the natural earth elements that composed Adam's body, and the body of every human being since.
