  3. Setting • The main setting in this story is the New Year Yves party • There are also more settings like…….. • Kissimmee, Florida • The block estate • Westchester, NY

  4. Characters • Alicia-Is in the body alive dance studio squad (B.A.D.S.S).She really wants to lead the B.A.D.S.S.’s live performance at the New Year Yves party. • Massie- A beta in the clique Ahnnabees. But she knows that she will be destined to lead. • Dylan- Is DONE with people trying to be her friends just because her mom is famous. • Claire- Is so exited to win a last minute invitation to the New Year Yves Party…..but first she needs to sneak out of the house. • Kristen-Has made a New Years resolution to get a life and make friends

  5. Plot • Massie is dropped off at the new years eve party • Claire wins the contest • Massie goes to a fortune teller . The fortune teller tells her “when all five pieces are together, you will reach your full potential as leader. • Massie’s charm bracelet breaks • Claire sneaks out of the house. Until her babysitter comes out and tells them they can’t go. • Kristen finds a charm • Alicia finds a charm • Dylan finds a charm • Claire’s parents find a charm and give it to claire • At midnight all of them(except Claire) go to watch the “BAG” drop and give Massie her charms. • They become friends and start a clique.

Conflict/Resolution • Massie losses her charms • It slipped off her hand and broke • Resolution: Claire, Alicia, Kristen and Dylan find a charm and give it to Massie • Claire can’t go to the New Year Yves party • Massie keeps calling Dylan fat but when she looks in the mirror she is skinny • The manager for Dylan's mom’s show switched all the mirrors with skinny mirrors that make you look 10 sizes skinner

  7. Theme • The theme is don’t let anyone hold you back • This theme best represents the story because Massie was letting the Annabees hold her back. She always knew she was destined to be leader but by being in the Annabees she couldn’t

  8. Personal Book Review I really enjoyed reading the book Charmed and Dangerous: The rise of the pretty committee. It was very interesting and funny at the same time. I would recommend this book to my friends. It is a really good series. If you like Charmed and Dangerous: The rise of the pretty committee you will love the rest of the books in the series.
