What is Faith? • (Psa 37:4) Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. • (Psa 37:5)Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. • (Psa 37:6)And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

  3. What is Faith? • Heb 11:1 To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. Heb 11:2 It was by their faith that people of ancient times won God's approval. Heb 11:3 It is by faith that we understand that the universe was created by God's word, so that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.

  4. What is Faith? • Faith is Fearless • Dan 3: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego • Dan 6: Daniel and the Lions Den • Faith is Awaiting Breakthrough • It is to be Expectant • Pro 17:20 Anyone who thinks and speaks evil can expect to find nothing good---only disaster.

  5. What is Faith? • Pro 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue; And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” • Mat 15:18 “But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart…”

What is Faith? • Faith is Intentional • You need to be INTENTIONAL about your What you Believe!!! • Jas 1:6 But he must ask in faith, without any doubts, for the one who has doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. Jas 1:7 Such a person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Jas 1:8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all he undertakes.

  7. What is Faith? • Mar 11:23 Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' if he doesn't doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
