It supports multiple currencies and allows to send and receive invoices and do payment settlements. Also provides reconciliation tools for matching usage records with vendors. Includes a self-serve portal for vendors.

  18. AdvOSS Service ManagementScalable & Reliable Next Generation AAA Applications

  19. AdvOSS Service Management AAA Server • AdvOSS AAA Server is required by any communications service providers such as Telecoms, wired and wireless broadband providers in 3G, 4G, LTE or other technologies. It is needed to provide a real-time interface between service delivery functions and core functions like B/OSS, policy, rating, charging, service management and subscriber management.

  20. AdvOSS Service Management Policy Server • AdvOSS Policy Server is required by any service provider who has complex service management needs and have to make policy driven decisions based on business rules to realize those needs. AdvOSS Policy Server enables a service provider to create policies and define their business rules for any business process e.g. Routing, Charging, Resources allocation and others. It specially realizes the PCRF (Policy Charging Rules Function) as defined in the PCC framework of 3GPP for next generation networks like LTE, IMS, Wi-Max and other 4G technologies

  21. AdvOSS Service Management Policy Server

  22. AdvOSS Service Management HSS (Home Subscriber Server) • AdvOSS HSS is required by any communications service providers such as Telecoms, wired and wireless broadband providers in 3G, 4G, LTE or other technologies as the centralized data repository. It stores subscribers identities and subscription data about all subscribers and their service offerings. It is also required to keep track of service add-ons and their subscriptions by individual subscribers. It serves service profiles to Application servers or policy enforcement points.

  23. AdvOSS Service Management Mediation System • AdvOSS Mediation provides interfaces between different network elements that are generating data about service usage and provides means to correlate it and insert into back end systems

  24. Service Management Products Roadmap Q2 2012: support for LTE Main Goal is to make products PCC Framework compliance which will automatically make AdvOSS Service Management Products LTE Compliant (Expected to be completed Q2 2012). AdvOSS is in process of implementing the following interfaces.

  25. AdvOSS Service DeliveryInnovative, State-of the artSIP & IMS Offerings

  26. AdvOSS Service DeliveryLeast Cost Routing Engine • AdvOSS LCR: An Engine that allows the routing of each voice call or other service request towards the vendor providing the least cost for that destination. Integrates with any other SIP based or Radius based Application Server

  27. AdvOSS Service DeliverySBC (Session Border Controller) • AdvOSS SBC: A SIP Based Session Border Controller providing all Session Border Control functions in addition to serving as IMS Core Calls Servers P-CSCF, I-CSCF and S-CSCF

  32. Upcoming Product line Cloud Computing and cloud based services • Virtualization • Hosted Microsoft Exchange • Hosted SaaS (Software as a Service)

  33. Software Architecture

  34. AMPS as Middleware

  35. Platform & Scalability Distributed Application and Data processing Distributed application processing: Dispatcher & Peer Architecture

  36. Platform & ScalabilityDistributed Data processing • Data Replication-Central write & Distributed reads • Data partitioning with replication

  37. AdvOSS SolutionsKey technology BenefitsHigh Availability

  38. AdvOSS SolutionsKey Technology BenefitsScalability • AdvOSS uses the following technologies and architectures to achieve Scalability • Dispatcher/Server Model • Layers of Dispatching • Replication Dispatcher/Server Model

  39. AdvOSS SolutionsKey Technology BenefitsScalability • Layers of Dispatching: For large scale Operators extra layer of dispatching can be added

  40. AdvOSS SolutionsKey Technology BenefitsScalability • Replication: AdvOSS database designs separate the OLTP Servers where all writing of new data is going on from the OLAP Servers where all heavy reads and analytical processing is going on. This provides almost limitless scalability as it is possible to put more and more servers all getting a copy of data in real-time where heavier processing can be done without effecting the master Transaction Processing Servers.

  41. AdvOSS SolutionsKey Technology BenefitsScalability • Replication between Heterogeneous Databases: AdvOSS uses advanced database replication middleware to synchronize data between different types of databases e.g. from MySQL to Oracle in real-time.

  42. AdvOSS SolutionsKey Technology BenefitsRedundancy AdvOSS uses different technologies in combination to achieve redundancy in the system Storage Redundancy: All databases are redundant and use advanced multi-master replication techniques to keep up to date with each other. Computation Redundancy Database Multi-Master replication offers computation redundancy as well. Processing can be switched to secondary servers in real-time without loss of continuity. Switching and AAA All Switching and AAA architectures work on a dispatcher / Serving node architecture. Dispatcher does real-time load balancing among all Serving Nodes. If any Serving node goes down, processing carries on through other available nodes.

  43. AdvOSS SolutionsKey Technology BenefitsDisaster Recovery The System can be deployed in geographically distant data centers, for disaster recovery reasons. Using the DR setup, existing services realized through AdvOSS Solution deployed at main site can keep on working in the case of a disaster that makes primary solution unavailable for any reason.
