Theme What we experienced after reading The view from Saturday isn't just about friendship, kindness. It's more about how to look inside, don't look at the outside of a person. We can't assess anyone by their appearance. For instances, in this book, Julian is described as a weird boy in school because he doesn't talk to anyone usually and he's being away from everybody. However, far way from that appearance, he's a nice and understanding friend. His friends can find a peaceful and beautiful time when they're with him. Besides, Ms. Olinski is a paraplegic. People thought that she can't do anything after her motorbike accident. But, opposite with what they thought, she stood up and started everything again. Ms. Olinski is a nice teacher and she understands her students by her true heart. Moreover, understanding people isn't just to look at them and see how they act. It's about how we feel their mind, how we get their real emotions even though they don't finish the sentence.
