How Was the New Playground Funded? • $160,000.00 from Seton Medical Center Foundation Trust • $23,156.56 from State Recycling Grant • $25,899.63 from Dedicated Park In-Lieu Fees • $209,056.19 was what the City had originally in funding • ($251,584.26) Total project cost, plus the cost of the stars ($4k) • $209,056.19 Original funding amount from above • $20,000.00 Grant amount City received from KaBOOM! • $9,000.00 Lions in-kind contribution – demo’ed play structure • ($13,528.07) Funding Gap which needed to be closed through fundraising
