4. Marine Surveying Marine Surveying has a noble history that goes back hundreds if not thousands of years.
As long as there have been boats there have been people who specialized in inspecting them for quality and safety and recommending repairs. Over the past few hundred years, as ships and shipping technology began to evolve as a major source of transportation and commerce, Marine Surveying has emerged as a well-defined profession with its own principles, practices, societies and ethics codes.

Surveying companies are responsible for such issuance of certificates and any issues that may arise, either directly or otherwise as a result.

Port of Fujairah Quality Surveyors - Actions Registration Rejection Refer to your request to add the surveyor Mr. B.K. in the list of surveyors registered with Port of Fujairah, his qualifications are not meeting with the requirement of Port of Fujairah to issue Hot Work & Gas Free related certificates at Fujairah Offshore Anchorage & Port of Fujairah. Surveyor responsible for issuance of Hot Work & Gas Free Certificate etc.. at Fujairah Offshore Anchorage and Port of Fujairah must be at least a Chemist or a Second Engineer. Warning Capt. V. holds Liberian Master Certificate that is not acceptable and he holds a Second Officer Certificate from India.
His qualifications are not acceptable to issue Towage Certificates. Therefore, your company is restricted to deal with Towage Certificate till you have a qualified Master Mariner to issue that.

26. Port of Fujairah Quality Surveyors - Actions Survey Activities Suspension Please note that your company is not allowed to do any survey in Port of Fujairah and Fujairah Offshore Anchorage Area till the matter is clear.
Band Survey Activity Further to our fax MD/FAX/07/46 dated 17/01/2007, a similar incident occurred on 06 November, 2007 at 0559 hr when the bridle of A.L.10 broken at the Port of Fujairah entrance (breakwater). Port of Fujairah can not accept such repeated incidents after certifying the safety and security of the tow.
