Are your Association Representatives Effective? • Talk at your tables about “What makes an Effective AR?” • Have someone write down the ideas so they can be shared out. • What data can you use to help you determine AR effectiveness? • Have someone write down the ideas so they can be shared out.
Data-Driven Decision Making • Who should be the AR in each building? • Are you measuring ROI? (Return on Investment) • Where do you spend the most money in your budget? • Is the membership line item the largest value?
Staff Identification Activity Fall activity to be completed at an Association Building Leader meeting. Each Association Building Leader should bring two copies of their staff roster. The Association ABL’s will highlight their staff lists in the following manner: *Yellow – highlight those members on your staff that are passionate about politics. *Pink – highlight those members that are highly respected by staff. *Blue – highlight those members that are experts on the standards and curriculum. *Green – highlight those members that are doers – they just always get things done. *Orange – highlight those members that are the glue that hold your staff together – they are fun, they believe the staff is family, they are cohesive… *Circle in pencil/pen – those members you simply do not know, and make a commitment to talk to each of them.
