Zoning Goals • Open Pioneer Elementary with approximately 575 students in September 2014 • Include the Southwestern student population of 490 students and expand the current Southwestern attendance zone to include approximately 85 additional students • Maintain a contiguous attendance zone using established roadways, geographical features, and neighborhood boundaries to the greatest extent possible • Respect established neighborhood boundaries where possible • Reduce mobile unit usage at schools affected by rezoning
