Community Forestry at all levels can use ads. Everyone is target audience. Focus groups/surveys in 4 cities, 4 states. All agreed. National Ad Campaign-Concept
CAMPAIGN ELEMENTS • NUCFAC will develop and produce national ads and buy space for them in national publications. • Logo’s, art work and other promotional materials will be available for downloading from the website. • There is a great need to develop connections between national ads & local campaigns through logo identification and concurrent use of the promotional materials. communitytrees.org

TIMING • National ads will be developed for placement in magazines for Arbor Day 2001. • Website launch date is scheduled for late March 2001. • Partner agency use should run concurrently with national effort.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS • All partners who participate will be asked to report on numbers of contacts as a result of the campaign. • The success of this campaign will be gauged by the number of people who ask for and make use of the Urban and Community Forestry materials in the campaign.
HOW CAN I PARTNER IN THIS AD CAMPAIGN? • Log on to www.communitytrees.org for downloading logos, art, and a listing of materials available. • Utilize the logo and materials developed along with your agency’s information when promoting Arbor Day or any Community Forestry activity.
