Gum is fairly indigestible, but it will easily pass through the digestive system without causing any harm. • Cracking your knuckles will cause arthritis later in life. • False! There is no evidence that cracking your knuckles creates the inflammation that leads to arthritis. Constant cracking can weaken your fingers though, as the adhesive seal in joints in broken when the bones are pulled apart. • Drinking warm milk can help put you to sleep. • True! Milk has the chemical tryptophan present in it, which is notorious for evoking drowsiness. • 4. Wait a half hour after eating before you can safely go swimming. • - False! Swimming right after a big meal might be uncomfortable, but it won't cause you to drown. Tongue Twister! Big black bugs bleed blue black blood but baby black bugs bleed blue blood.
