2. Purpose of Room The purpose of this room is for students who want to learn about Science and History. They can learn about Science and History during their free time. Students who like science and history will like this room.

Room Features • Mohogany stand up lectern • Single-sided sloped book truck • Combo desk • Bean bag seat • Student timer set of 6 • Human body activity set • Early American cards • Explorer cards • President cards • Marther Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Rosa parks read alongs

4. Feature item • Our feature item is a Bean bag. • Students who like to read in enjoyable places would be interested in this item. • They can be confortable on bean bags.

7. Budget Knowing our budget helped us choose our items. We knew that we had to be cheap. We knew that we have to stay underneath our budget of $2,500. We bought objects that we didn’t need, but we stayed in our budget. We had to multiply the quantity by the price of one. We told Cameron, “Do not buy a flag or rug. Buy stuff we need first.” Those rugs were to expensive. So we did not get the rugs. If we did not now our budget we would have went way over.

8. Connections Our new design would impact the students performance in class. The MahogonyStand Up Lectern would give students a chance to perform a character in history. They can say a speech too. The combo desk would give student a comfortable place to read. We would like a single sided sloped book shelf. They can organize there books.

9. Connections • We think that Richmond County should use our design because they can learn about more people in history than in class. They can get extra credit in social studies too. They can learn about science also. The human body can give many students a chance to learn about their body. Students could be a doctor when they grow because they learned about the body.
