Online Histograms • Histograms currently available at point 1 • Checked a few runs (82056, 82712) to see what’s currently available • T2CaloJet_Jet/E, Eem, Ehad, Et, Eta, Phi, dR • L2JetHypo/CutCounter • But the L2 jet histograms in the two runs above are empty • Didn’t see EF plots in the root file for the two runs above. Thus can’t comment on that yet • Need to find a list of good runs which has jet trigger turned on to get histograms – whom to ask? • DQMF configuration file was updated to run with tdaq-01-09-01, and is being used in the current runs • In principle should work, and we should be able to see the histograms on the fly if the jet trigger is turned on • Need to go to the control room during a good run with jet trigger turned on, to make sure

Tier 0 Histograms • Produced by HLTJetMonTool in offline/Trigger/TrigMonitoring/TrigHLTMonitoring/ • Works for the trigger EDM >14.2.10, backwad compatibility kept • List of Histograms • L2: njet, et, eta, phi, 2D plots of eta versus phi • EF: njet, et, eta, phi, 2D plots of eta versus phi • Han configuration file for the offline dqmf web display also prepared

CAF Histograms • Tools for Making CAF Histograms have been integrated into /offline/Trigger/TrigMonitoring/TrigHLTMonitoring • Name of the Tool: HLTJetOfflineTool • Works for the trigger EDM >14.2.10, backwad compatibility kept • List of Offline Histograms: • For L1, L2, EF and offline jets: njet, et, eta, phi • Histograms with all stats and histograms passing a certain trigger are organized into different folders • Capability to specify the triggers you want to look at and the triggers you want to use for sample selection • Correlation plots of L1, L2, EF jets to offline jets • Efficiency plots. Non-biased efficiency plots to be added • Han configuration file for the offline dqmf web display also prepared

  5. Offline Histogram Production • Both tools are tested to work under the latest release: 14.2.2X.Y • Won’t be able to see most of the histograms in FDR2(a,b,c) runs. Because of the trigger EDM incompatiblity, most of the trigger objects are missing. • Efforts are put into retrieving the trigger objects from the recent data files from the cosmic ray runs. Had some progress. Have pushed BS to ESD conversion experts to give feedback. • For example histograms see: • http://atlas.physics.arizona.edu/~xiaowen/ • Go to talks, and find alltriggers_Monitoring.root
