  7. Grammar: demonstrative pronoun + noun (ENG) this…, that…, that… over there, which… (Romaji) kono, sono, ano, dono (Hiragana) この、その、あの、どの • e.g. Is that banana 100 yen? • sono banana wahyaku yen desuka。 (Is X Y? form)

  8. Grammar: demonstrative pronoun for location (ENG) here, there, over there, where (Romaji) koko, soko, asoko, doko (Hiragana) ここ、そこ、あそこ、どこ • e.g. Mary’s college is here. • Mary no daigakuwakokodesu。

Objective: demonstrate understanding the use of demonstrative pronouns in Japanese speech. • Exercise #1 Tell me where you are at 9am, 12pm, and 3 pm in Japanese.
