Let’s get started!! Everyone will set up a private Facebook account using their college e-mail address. Let’s start with Facebook. We will all go through the security set-up together.
Research & discussion • Group into 3’s/4’s and choose 3-4 of the social media platforms and share your own knowledge. • Keep to the topic! Discuss: • What is the main purpose of your platform? • Who are the customers of these social media platforms? Once you get an idea of a couple, you can begin your research for Assessment 1. Use your new Facebook account to log in to other platforms.
On Thursday…. • In your groups you will present what the various personalisation tools are for your chosen social media platforms. • Who are the key customers? • What are the personalisation tools? • Are they effective? • What are their main purpose? Susan’s tip….try not to get too sucked into looking at the content on these platforms at the moment.
