I’m P Cygni. And I am awesome. I am a rare blue super giant. That is rare because almost every super giant sun is red or orange. Meaning that they have been burning for a very long time . But I have not. I am about 6300 light years away from your Sun.

  2. I am a rare blue super giant • That is rare because almost every super giant sun is red or orange. Meaning that they have been burning for a very long time. But I have not.

  3. I am about 6300 light years away from your Sun • But you can still see me in the night sky.

  4. I am in the constellation Cygnus, the swan • See if you can try and find me

  5. On average I’m about 750,000 times as luminous as the Sun. • Because I’m one of the brightest distant stars in the galaxy. Remarkable wind blowing off a portion of my outer atmosphere. Losing mass at the rate of one solar mass about every ten thousand years. Variable star with apparent visual magnitude ranging from 3 to 6 (the eye can see to apparent magnitudes of 5 or 6 on a moonless night).
