METHODS EMPLOYED • 225 ft of self-adjusting & self-filtering Longitudinal Peaked Stone Toe Protection {LPSTP}. Mix of DOT heavy & medium graded stone. All protection is on right bank • Curved & vegetated keys on US & DS ends, 1 vegged tieback & key in middle of project • A stone check dam at DS end {not enuf stone for an Engineered Rocked Riffle} • Boil-Up Pool with curved kicker (Smile) • Five Single-Stone Bendway Weirs • Many transplanted Streamco Willow shrubs • Live Siltation,Pole Plantings, & Live Staking using Streamco & Black Willows, Red Osier & Silky Dogwoods • 6 rooted-stock Red Osier Dogwood
WE WILL START DOWNSTREAM & WORK UPSTREAM, THEN DO THE GRADE CONTROL @ THE DS END LAST.

TRANSPLANTING A LARGE CLUMP OF WILLOW Multi-stem (20 to 40 stems) bushes approx. 14 to 24 ft tall, transplanted as a single clump, with roots in trench directly behind the LPSTP. Tops of branches were trimmed & used as Live Poles (6 to 10 ft long).
