Direct Instructors begin daily instruction one month before school-wide application is scheduled.
Literacy Training for Teachers • PTHS utilizes school improvement days and monthly early release days to conduct literacy trainings for our teachers. • Early Release Thursdays: Each Thursday students are dismissed early to provide meeting opportunities and PLC time. • Literacy Groups – once a month, groups meet to discuss the current literacy strategy. Each group is led by several direct instructors who share ideas with appliers. • From time to time, we split into two larger groups of direct instructors and appliers for specialized training.
