MC/OFFLINE meeting LNF 10 Jan 08 Status of MC - G. Venanzoni Need for a MC sample of Bhabha - T. Spadaro Implementation of Babayaga@NLO in Geanfi - S. Mueller Discussion
Status of MC After completing the all production (all_phys) for 2004/05 (1.75 fb-1) at LSF=1, we had the request (before the summer 07) to duplicate the MC all_phys statistics (mainly for ke2 analysis): We decided to do two sub-productions (all_phys2 and all_phys3) @LSF=0.5 each All the productions have mccard_id=2, but can be distinguished by: dtr_gb_nr=0 for all_phys (LSF=1) dtr_gb_nr=1 for all_phys2 (LSF=0.5) dtr_gb_nr=2 for all_phys3 (LSF-0.5) example (for all_phys2): kls mcdst “run_nr=34472 and mc_mccard_id=2 and dtr_gb_nr=1” (if you don’t specify dtr_gb_nr, all_phys+all_phys2+all_phys3 are selected) The production all_phys2 is finished, while we are now finishing all_phys3. The initial rate was ~13 pb-1@LSF=1 on 128 slots, changing to ~18 pb-1 after a modification to datarec (in “get_mc_version” routine) Other issues: Mcr files are “physically” deleted (but not the entries in the DB) krare production for 2004 has benn also done mrc dst of 2005 with correct +-e+e- completed
All_phys MC production To complete the production ~ 360 pb-1 (LSF=1) are missing, i.e. ~20 days .
Status of reconstruction trgmon luminosity in pb-1 by year and DBV Don’t have +-e+e-selection. We want to reprocess them OK We want to reprocess 2005 data with DBV<25 (~1.1. fb-1)
Short term plans Complete all_phys3 production: 20 days Reprocessing of 2005 data with DBV<25: ~80 days (1.1 fb-1) Reprocessing of 2006 data (with new selection): 2 weeks ? Dst’s holes Rad MC LSF = 5: ~10 days ? Beltrame’s request: 250pb-1 of Bhabha at 1 GeV (~1 week) Tommaso request: Bhabha 2004/05, EFF=~600nb
Change in group organization Roberto Versaci will substitute Matt as convener. Thanks Matt for the great job!
