“Breaking Stereotypes and Raising Awareness” The African Night was the first installment of an annual ritual hosted by the African Student Association. The purpose of African Night is to break common stereotypes brought on by the media and to raise awareness in education among the students on campus.
From doing this event, I learned how to do traditional African makeup with a modern twist. I also got more close to my long lost little African girl!
