Bearcat Snow Days Sorry, no snowball fights today!
What are students responsible for on these days? • All ACHS students have received classroom instructions, including four days of work for each of their five scheduled classes. • On a Bearcat Snow Day, students are required to complete the assigned work for that day as instructed by their teachers. All work will be scored and grades assigned based on student work.
Types of Assignments • On-Demand Writing prompts • ACT and AP practice test questions • Projects • Other assignments given by teacher
Purpose • These assignments were created to be meaningful for our students and align with our mission statement to make sure that ALL students are college and career ready when they leave ACHS.
Daily Schedules • Bearcat Day Plan A: Staff available 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. via phone or email and available on-site, at school, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. for Media Center Hours. • Bearcat Day Plan B: Staff available 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. via phone or email only, no Media Center Hours available.
What if my student has questions? • Students may email their teachers. (All email addresses are available on the school website.) • You can also contact the school at (502) 839-5118 and we will forward your call to the teacher. • Email is the preferred contact method, and all students should have received detailed instructions on the assignments.
