Virtual Observatories are flourishing: • NVO facility via CA between NSF and NASA • NASA VxO program • CEDAR community • GEON transition to a facility? • VOs in Europe • Environmental Observatories • Sensor web • IVOA - solar system interest group proposed • Virtual Organizations and Virtual Observatories • Invitations are coming in every day!!

  5. 20 abstracts (largest ESSI session), 8 oral presentations, over 60 in attendance at talks. Poster session very well attended. Spring 06 AGU sessions on Data Integration Spring 06 APL workshop on Ontologies 25 attendees - background and detailed discussions on semantics, ontologies. EGU session on Virtual Observatories 8 oral presentations and xx posters given at the EGU Union session in Vienna, April 2-7. Fox and Bentley. Also presented VO in the EDU session IAU Special Session on VO, WGAD ISWC 2006 Fox presented invited talk on Virtual Observatories and Data Integration in Semantic Web In-Use track CODATA - VO sessionCEDAR workshop - VO sessionFall 06 AGU sessions:Semantic Data Integration, Knowledge Discovery
