  2. Where he was born and what he did. • No one knows were Henry Hudson was born, they only know about four years of his life from 1607-1611. • Henry Hudson was a sailor.

  3. Who he sailed for and his motivation • Henry Hudson sailed for Holland and a company called Dutch east India. • His motivation was to find new routes to different places.

  4. What years he sailed and how many voyages he took • Henry Hudson took four voyages. • He sailed in 1607, 1608, 1609, and 1610.

  5. What he discovered • Henry Hudson discovered the Hudson river, and the Hudson bay, he also claimed Canadian land for England.

  6. His first voyage • Henry Hudson’s first voyage was in 1607 he was trying to find a new route to Asia.

  7. Second voyage • His second voyage was in 1608, he was doing the same thing but this time he was trying to find a new route to Spitsbergen and Novaya Zemlya.

  8. Third voyage • His third voyage was in 1609, this was the most rewarding voyage. He had to find a new passage to a place by the north side of Nova Zemlya. But he did not find the passage. It was still his most successful voyage because he found a bunch of natural recourses like corn, copper, fish and a bunch of other important recourses.

  9. Last voyage • His last voyage was in 1610, it was the most important because his crew started a mutiny and threw him and his son off the boat on a raft and they were never seen again.
